Student Registration Guidance 2020/2021

As we prepare for the 2020/2021 school year, we must re-register returning students and pre-register new students for the upcoming school year.

  • Registration forms have been updated to include a technology, internet and learning preference survey. Flexible learning options are summarized below. Parents and guardians can select their flexible learning option for the upcoming school year. Flexible learning options include hybrid learning, complete remote learning from home, and on campus learning for at risk students. (See flexible learning options listed below). 
  • All schools will continue to accept registration from July 27- August 7; however, we ask that parents and guardians complete registration as soon as possible.  
  • All registration information must be updated prior to August 7 in order to expedite class scheduling and technology device check out for remote learning.  
  • All parents must have an active ParentVUE account, please contact your school support team for activation key or assistance.
  • All students in grades 5-12 must have an active StudentVUE account, please contact your school support team for activation key or assistance.
  • All registration packets as well as school calendars and school supply lists are available on the EPS Students/Parents website at: http://www.k12espanola.org/students_and_parents
  • Online registration is taking place at Espanola Valley High School, Carlos Vigil Middle School and Alcalde Elementary. Please log into your ParentVUE account to complete registration.
  • Paper based registration is taking place at all other school sites.Please download the registration packet for your child on our district website and submit via email to your school principal or office manager.If you cannot complete the registration packet electronically, then please pickup and submit your completed packet per your school’s contactless pick up and drop off box located at the front of your school between 8:00-4:00 PM Daily.

Flexible Learning Options

Hybrid Cohort A (Blended Learning 2/3 Model)         [OPTION 1]
Hybrid Learning, students will attend school on campus 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday), and remotely from home 3 days per week.

Hybrid Cohort B (Blended Learning 2/3 Model)         [OPTION 1]
Hybrid Learning, students will attend school on campus 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday), and remotely from home 3 days per week.

Hybrid Cohort C (Blended Learning 4/1 Model)          [OPTION 3]
On Campus, this option is for our most at-risk students with IEP, SAT, 504 or EL learning accommodation.  Students will attend school on campus 4 days per week, and remotely from home 1 day per week.  Space may be limited for this option in order to maintain 50% capacity limits and social distancing requirements.   

Remote Cohort D (Remote Learning 5 Model)            [OPTION 2]
Remote Learning, students will not attend classes on campus, instead they will participate remotely from home 5 days per week.  Students must have regular access to the internet to participate in synchronous classes taught by their regular teachers daily.
