I would like to take this time and welcome everyone back for the 2012-2013 school year.  I am looking forward to serving this wonderful community of Hernandez.  My name is Ruben Salazar and have much experience in the Elementary and High School levels.  I have an open door policy.  If you have any questions or want to drop by to visit, please do so.

The staff of Hernandez Elementary School has been delivering the K-3 Summer School program.  This program offers tutoring and intervention strategies that will target the "Reading" and "Math".  We had the New Mexico Public Education Department visit our school and we got rave reviews on our K-3 program.
