The Mission of the Española Public Schools Student Nutrition Department is to provide quality, home cooked, nutritious well balanced meals for all students, staff and community; while maintaining an effective, efficient reliable friendly environment.
Community Eligibility Provision (CEP):
All Pre-K, Elementary and Middle School in EPS participate in Community Eligibility Provision which allows the district to provide the students of these schools with a free breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast After the Bell:
All EPS elementary schools participate in the Breakfast After the Bell Program (BAB). BAB requires EPS to establish a school breakfast program providing free breakfast after the instructional day has begun, provided that instruction occur simultaneously.
After School Snack:
All elementary schools provide after school snacks for the students that participate in the district’s after school programs.
All Espanola Valley High School students are required to submit a meal application. Applications are available on our website or at EVHS.

Espanola Valley High School’s meals are provided by Summit Food Services. Summit offers EVHS students approximately 4 different reimbursable meal choices for lunch daily.
